| 1 | O/Head's P.1..jpg |
View of the "throat" area of St Dennis station showing the complexity of the overheads at a "junction" location, a lot of the masts & registration arms ( JV ) have been costomised to fit the needs of the track layout, just one of the reasons I use JV for all my "structural" requirements, the other being that they are by far the closest match to british outline structures available & are supplied ready built or in kit form. | Overhead Catenery / J.V. & Sommerfeldt. | (354) |
| 2 | Bachmann Class 20.jpg |
This lady,an early build example, was exquisitly weathered & renumbered by the guys at Making Tracks, all the buffer beam detailing was done by me | Bachmann "00" Models | (345) |

Hi there,I'm Bob Hart I've been into railways for over 40 years now, both 12 inch to the foot & models.I am one of the team of platform staff at Welwyn Garden City station here in Hertfordshire & have been here for 6 years having spent 16 years at Stevenage before that & 5 years at Kings Cross as a Drivers assistant where I began my long railway career. My love for modelling in both "N" gauge in the early days, & now in "00" has steadily increased over this time & included a 3 year run as one half of a re-spray & detailing business called "Going Loco" which I partnered with a guy named Jamie Frazer & was trading between 1992 & 1995 in which time we had stands at several major rail events including "East Lanc's", "Grantham","Darlington",Westminster Hall & "St Albans Arena".During this period I designed & produced / tested the prototype for our very own class 37/9 roof conversion kit which we went on to sell some 200+ sets, sadly our full time work commitments put an end to this hectic but magic period of time.So the purpose of this site is to share my knowledge & experience with fellow modelers,I hope you will enjoy & make full use of all the information that it contains.
